What is a "don't block me" quiz?
A don't block me quiz is a friendship challenge with a dramatic twist. One person answers ten questions about themselves. Their friends then try to guess those answers. Score low and the verdict is harsh: you get "blocked". Score high and you're safe for another day.
Nobody actually gets blocked, of course. The block is the joke, and the joke is what makes people share it. A plain "how well do you know me" quiz feels like homework. A quiz where your friend might publicly declare you a fake friend feels like a dare.
On Block You Test Me you can make one in about a minute, for free, without an account.
How the game works, step by step
- You make the quiz. Type your name and answer 10 questions about your habits, tastes and personality. Don't like a question? Swap it for another one.
- You send the link. Share it in a group chat, on your story, or privately to the one friend you're suspicious of.
- Friends answer as if they were you. Every question shows up from your point of view, like "What's Maya's go-to snack?". They pick the answer they think you chose.
- Instant feedback. After each answer they see right away whether they got it. A meter at the top fills up with "Real" or "Blocked" as they go.
- The verdict. At the end there's a short chat-style reveal, then the score out of 10 and your reply.
- You check the scoreboard. Your private scoreboard lists every friend, their score and the exact questions they missed.
The three verdicts
The score decides which reply your friend gets:
- 0โ3: Blocked ๐ซ โ "You don't know me at all. Blocked." This is the one people screenshot.
- 4โ6: On thin ice ๐ง โ "Not bad, but I'm watching you." Close enough to want a rematch.
- 7โ10: Never blocked ๐ โ "Okay, you're the real one." The badge friends love to post.
The middle tier matters more than you'd think. Someone who scores 5 or 6 almost always wants to know which questions they got wrong, and that's when they decide to make their own quiz.
Example questions you'll see
The question bank mixes easy wins with questions only close friends get right:
- What's my go-to snack? ๐
- What time do I actually fall asleep? ๐
- How fast do I reply to messages? โก
- What would I never forgive a friend for? ๐ค
- What do I do when I'm sad? ๐ซ
- How messy is my room right now? ๐งฆ
- Which superpower would I choose? ๐ฆธ
- What would I do after winning the lottery? ๐ธ
- What annoys me the most? ๐ค
- Where would I go on a dream trip? โ๏ธ
You can browse all of them, grouped by topic, on the question ideas page. There's also a longer list of friendship quiz questions if you want ideas for a quiz of your own.
Tips to get the most dramatic results
- Pick a few hard questions. If everyone scores 10, nobody gets blocked and nobody talks about it.
- Answer honestly. The fun is in friends discovering something they didn't know about you.
- Post the scoreboard. A screenshot of who got blocked does more for replies than the link itself.
- Send it to different groups. School friends, online friends and family all score very differently.
