A friendship quiz that tests the friendship, not trivia
A good friendship quiz isn't about facts you could find on someone's profile. It's about the small things you only notice when you actually spend time with a person: what they order every single time, how they react to a surprise, what they'd never forgive.
That's how this one works. You answer ten questions about yourself. Your friends guess your answers. The score shows how well each friendship holds up, and the results are often surprising. The friend you text every day might score a 5. The quiet one from class might score a 9.
How to make your friendship quiz
- Enter your name so friends know whose quiz it is.
- Answer 10 questions about your habits, tastes and personality. Swap any question that doesn't fit you.
- Copy your link and share it once. Every friend uses the same link.
- Open your private scoreboard to see each friend's score and which answers they missed.
The whole thing takes about a minute. It works in the Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp browsers, so friends can play straight from a story or chat.
What your friendship score means
- 7โ10: Ride or die ๐ โ This friend pays attention. Keep them.
- 4โ6: Solid, with gaps ๐ง โ You're close, but they don't know everything. A good excuse for a catch-up.
- 0โ3: Time to talk ๐ซ โ Maybe you've drifted, or maybe they just guessed. Either way, the answers make a great conversation starter.
Don't take a low score too seriously. Some people are close to you in ways a quiz can't measure. The point is to have fun and learn a few things about each other.
Why friendship quizzes are worth doing
Friendship quizzes sound silly, but they do something useful: they get people talking about details they normally skip. A friend who learns you're secretly scared of heights, or that you'd spend a surprise $100 on food, now knows you a little better. And when they make their own quiz and you play it, you return the favour.
They're also a low-pressure way to reconnect. Sending "how are you?" to someone you haven't talked to in months feels awkward. Sending a quiz link doesn't.
Ideas for a fun friendship quiz
Mix question types so the score means something:
- Everyday habits โ "What time do I actually go to sleep?"
- Food โ "What's my late-night craving?"
- Personality โ "How would my friends describe me?"
- Hypotheticals โ "Which superpower would I pick?"
- Friendship itself โ "What would I never forgive a friend for?"
We keep a full list of friendship quiz questions, sorted by category, and every question in the game is on the question ideas page.
Friendship quiz for groups
Have a big group chat? Share one link with the whole group and compare scores. The scoreboard ranks everyone from highest to lowest, which usually starts a debate about who the real best friend is. For a quiz aimed at one person only, the Best Friend Test is a better fit.
Want something with more drama? The don't block me quiz uses the same game but tells low scorers they're "blocked".
